HPI founder Hasso Plattner held the keynote at the Personalized Medicine World Conference on January 29 in Mountain View, California. He gave a preview of HPIs plans for CeBIT, in March of this year in Germany. The presentation was about the use of in-memory database technology for real time processing of big data and its future application in medical research for genome analysis.

HPI will present project High-Performance In-Memory Genome (HIG) in a CeBIT lab in hall 9, booth A34. It allows doctors to base treatment decisions on the patients DNA resulting in a better treatment outcome with less side effects.
