Back in 2013, I wrote a blog about how you can “plug in” and become powered by the power of SAP HANA, via the many customer communities that SAP has to offer. Many of you joined the communities at that time, and to date we have grown to over 2000 members, delivered almost 100 webcast calls, and had countless meet-ups at various events and conferences. It’s all good.
But it can get even better. Now is your time. Don’t wait. Plug into the many SAP HANA customer community offerings and make your voice heard. Network with others, and learn how they are using the power of SAP HANA to run their businesses. Share. Learn. Influence SAP. Join in.
Here is how:
- Join the SAP HANA International Focus Group. We launched a brand new JAM site late last year, and if you are having trouble joining it, then send a note to: email@example.com. Everyone should be part of this global community. SAP. Customers. Partners. Developers.
- Get your executives to join our global SAP HANA Executive Advisory Council. We have our own JAM site for this also, but it is private. If you are a HANA customer and live on HANA, whether on premise or in the cloud, then you should be part of this community. Send me a note for further information: firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Join the SAP HANA Spotlight These (approx.) bi-weekly calls feature real live SAP HANA customers talking about their own experiences with HANA. They are all recorded. You can play back prior calls & listen to one in your industry if the current call is not your industry. You can join any future call you wish to and of course you can ask me how you can present your HANA story on a future call. I have never had any presenting customer say they did not completely enjoy the experience presenting on the call, and they are now thought leaders among peers.
- Pay attention to your local user group. Whether you are in the North American market (ASUG) or in another part of the world and connected to that local user group, you must plug in. Each user group has its own HANA program and offers education, networking and influencing activities around all components of HANA. What an opportunity to engage!
Let us know what else we can provide for you. SAP HANA is a journey, and quite an interesting one. Don’t do it alone, you don’t have to. We have all the community support you need.
See you soon,
