Looking back at our achievements in 2018 it was quite a year for Database and Data Management at SAP! From new customer successes (some of my favorites include Epsilon and Mckesson), to the SAP HANA Data Management Suite announcement at SAPPHIRE NOW, the next generation of the SAP HANA service, support for Intel Optane persistent memory…we had a lot of exciting news to share with you and even more in store for 2019.
I’m pleased to share with you a streamlined, central way we’ll be sharing new product information: Data Bits & Bites for Busy People, the one-stop source in 2019 for all Database and Data Management topics.
The best part is they will only require 15-30 minutes of your time! The new format delivers two types of information sessions; Data Bits will be 15 minute ‘What is it’ sessions held on Tuesdays and Data Bites are 30 minute ‘How to’ sessions held on Thursdays, all sessions will be available live and on-demand.
We recognize that, like data, information is constant and it’s hard to stay on top of everything. Which is why we’re committed to delivering snappy, succinct material to you directly from SAP’s subject matter experts—in one place. And the topics won’t just cover What’s New topics, we are focused on helping you become better educated on SAP data management and database technologies and how to use them via specific feature/functionality demos. Some topics I’d like to highlight, “Data Orchestration versus ETL—What’s the Difference”, “Our Favorite Ways to Use SAP HANA with the Google Cloud Platform”, “Why ISVs Choose SAP HANA for App Dev”, “Conceptual Modelling with SAP Enterprise Architecture Designer”, and “How to Clone, Edit, and Build Data Warehouse Artifacts”.
To register for the series (which can be live or on demand) visit this page, which will constantly be updated as new items are added to the calendar.
We look forward to engaging with you via this new webinar series. And please feel free to use the comments below to suggest topics you’d like to see.
